Job summary

Small Talk Pediatric Therapy is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) to work with children in a full-time, in-person role in New Albany, Indiana. You will develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team, and advance children’s participation in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current OT licensure, or eligibility to obtain before starting.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with families and colleagues.
• Commitment to individualized, evidence-based pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating how developmental, motor, sensory, and other functional challenges affect each child’s daily activities.
• Developing individualized treatment plans with meaningful goals for play, self-care, and participation.
• Providing engaging, evidence-based interventions that fit each child’s needs and interests.
• Supporting skills such as fine motor coordination, visual motor integration, dressing, and participation in daily routines.
• Helping families understand progress and use practical strategies between visits.
• Collaborating with teammates and other professionals involved in the child’s care.
• Maintaining timely, accurate evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Bringing curiosity and ideas to the ongoing improvement of our clinical services.
