Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
  • Ohio licensure in Occupational Therapy required.
  • NBCOT registration required.
  • CPR certification required within 60 days of hire or expiration.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates pediatric patients to determine developmental or functional status and develops individualized treatment plans.
  • Develops and administers therapeutic treatment to improve development, function, and independence.
  • Fabricates or recommends adaptive equipment, splints, or casts and trains patients in use.
  • Educates patients and families on treatment goals and home exercises; monitors progress.
  • Documents patient progress; manages caseload, scheduling, and billing entries.
  • Attends continuing education and participates in staff training; may supervise students and assistants.
