Responsibilities

• Evaluates pediatric patients to determine developmental or functional status and creates individualized treatment plans.
• Develops and administers therapy to improve development, function, and independence.
• Fabricates or provides adaptive equipment and splints to improve mobility and function; trains patients on use.
• Educates patients and families on goals, plans, and home exercise activities.
• Documents patient progress and maintains caseload and administrative duties.
• Attends continuing education and participates in staff training.
• Delivers educational programs for staff, students, and the community; supervises students and assistants.
