Job summary

Nationwide-Children seeks a pediatric occupational therapist to evaluate and treat children, creating individualized plans and providing family education. The role includes fabricating adaptive equipment, documenting progress, and maintaining caseload within hospital standards.

You will supervise students and staff while engaging in ongoing education and departmental training to enhance pediatric care. Ohio licensure and NBCOT certification are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Active Ohio OT license required.
• NBCOT certification required.
• CPR certification within 60 days post hire.
• 1 year pediatric OT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate pediatric patients to determine developmental or functional status.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Fabricate or recommend adaptive equipment and splints.
• Educate patients and families; provide home therapy guidance.
• Document progress and maintain caseload in compliance with hospital rules.
• Supervise students, OT assistants, and unlicensed staff; participate in CE programs.
