Job summary

MHMR of Tarrant County seeks an Occupational Therapist to support Early Childhood Intervention for infants and toddlers with developmental delays. The role includes direct OT in home or childcare settings and service coordination to enable family success, strengthening parent-child relationships and promoting functional independence.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in OT with Texas licensure; a master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Current Texas licensure required; Master’s degree in OT preferred but not required.
• Experience in pediatrics and related therapies (NDT, infant massage, sensory integration) preferred.
• Spanish-speaking a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services in the natural learning environment (home or childcare).
• Coordinate services and provide case management as part of service delivery.
• Coach and empower parents to learn skills and techniques to support child development.
