Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group seeks an experienced Licensed Occupational Therapist to serve as Occupational Therapy Clinical Coordinator. This hybrid leadership role combines direct pediatric patient care with clinical oversight, therapist support, documentation review, and operational coordination.

The ideal candidate enjoys mentoring clinicians, improving workflows, and supporting a high-quality, collaborative therapy team while maintaining an active pediatric home health caseload.

Qualifications

• Current Texas OT license in good standing.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to balance patient care with leadership responsibilities.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and support to OT, PT, Speech Therapy, and therapy assistant teams.
• Mentor and coach therapists to promote quality care, accountability, and growth.
• Supervise COTAs in accordance with Texas regulations.
• Maintain an active pediatric home health caseload and complete evaluations, treatment visits, and supervision visits within required timelines.
• Collaborate with families, physicians, referral sources, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing coordination, productivity monitoring, and EVV compliance; participate in leadership meetings and departmental projects.
