Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to deliver compassionate, one-on-one OT services in clinic and home health settings. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to support each child’s growth and independence.

The role offers full-time, part-time, and PRN options with hybrid scheduling across clinic and home health environments. New graduates are encouraged to apply, with opportunities for mentorship and ongoing

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited OT program.
• Current Texas OT license or eligible to obtain before start date.
• Pediatric OT experience preferred.
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
• Passion for helping children achieve developmental milestones and greater independence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based interventions to improve fine/gross motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, balance, strength and ROM, ADLs, and functional independence.
• Educate and train parents and caregivers on home programs and strategies.
• Collaborate with COTAs, SLPs, PTs, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide family-centered care.
• Supervise COTAs when applicable.
• Complete timely documentation while maintaining compliance with state and company standards.
• Build strong relationships with patients and families through compassionate, one-on-one care.
