Job summary

Twenty80 LLC is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a pediatric therapy team. The OT will evaluate and treat children to improve independence and daily living skills in a collaborative clinical setting.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or Doctorate in OT, have licensure or eligibility to practice in Alabama, and bring strong organizational and communication abilities to educate families and coordinate care.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or clinical doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current state OT license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience working with pediatric patients.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written communication abilities.
  • Friendly, compassionate and patient-focused demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations to assess functional abilities and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.
  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs and goals.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to improve motor skills, daily living activities, sensory integration, and overall function.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, high-quality patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and strategies to support continued progress.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation.
  • Adapt treatment approaches as patients progress and clinical needs change.

  • Current state Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.

  • Excellent written documentation and communication abilities.

  • Previous occupational therapy experience is preferred but not required.
