Job summary

The Utah State Hospital in Provo, Utah seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join the pediatric team, serving ages 6–18. You will deliver individualized and group OT, linking treatment to daily life and independence, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity of care.

Minimum NBCOT certification and Utah OT licensure are required; pediatric experience and strong organizational and communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification and Utah OT licensure required.
• Experience with pediatric populations preferred.
• Experience with group interventions and evidence-based practice.
• Strong communication, organization and self-direction are essential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient needs and provide OT to improve ADLs, IADLs, life skills, and social skills.
• Plan and lead individual and group sessions aligned to treatment goals.
• Document progress and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, doctors, nurses, social workers and OT staff.
