Job summary

Leaps & Bounds Pediatric Therapy in Norco/Corona, CA is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our collaborative, fast-paced outpatient team. You will provide direct OT to children, follow established treatment plans, and work across clinic and ranch settings including hippo therapy.

Qualifications

• Valid California COTA license.
• Pediatric experience is a plus.
• Clear Livescan, TB Test, CPR certification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and willingness to grow.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy to children and follow documented treatment plans or protocols.
• Help patients achieve goals outlined in treatment plans to increase independence in activities of daily living by administering therapeutic activities and exercises.
• Document patient performance such as tallying data.
• Prepare therapy materials and equipment for use in therapy activities.
• Adapt or modify materials and equipment as determined by patient needs.
• May work in various settings including clinic, ranch, or telehealth services.
• Communicate effectively in oral and written formats.
• Collaborate with team members of other disciplines and administrative staff.
• Comply with federal, state, and local requirements by studying legislation and enforcing adherence to.
• Design home exercise programs and instruct patients, families, and caregivers.
• Follow company policies and perform other related duties.
