Job summary

Corewell Health in Grand Rapids is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our outpatient clinics. You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for pediatric and orthopedic patients in a fast-paced setting.

You will uphold ANA standards, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and educate patients and families while ensuring safety and quality on day shifts in a 36-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in Michigan (STATE_MI).
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Licensure and credentials must be current upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Uphold ANA standards and the code of ethics in daily practice.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families to promote safe, effective healing.

Scope of work

As a Nurse with Corewell Health, providing top-notch patient care is paramount. You'll use your critical thinking skills and the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. You'll be responsible for upholding the standards of nursing excellence as described by the ANA, including the code of ethics. You'll be a vital member of our team and strive to achieve the best possible outcomes, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree Nursing
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree Nursing
• LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire Required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days Required or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days Required
