Job summary

Healthier-Mississippi-People-LLC is seeking an experienced registered nurse to assess, develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care in an assigned clinical area. You will coordinate scheduling, patient records, and admissions, and counsel patients and families on treatment and conditions.

This role requires collaboration with case managers, home health nurses, and utilization review, as well as mentoring staff and ensuring confidentiality and safety in care delivery.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the applicable state.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and care protocols.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatments for patients.
• Coordinates care across practice settings, schedules, and maintains patient records in the EHR.
• Consults with patients and families about treatments and conditions.
• Acts as liaison among case managers, home health nurses, and utilization review.
• Mentors new staff and participates in orientation and ongoing education.
• Ensures patient confidentiality and adheres to safety and infection control policies.
• Supports quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives.
