Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group is seeking a reliable Orthodontic Assistant to join MH Orthodontics in Norcross. The role focuses on creating a kid-friendly, stress-free dental experience for children and teens, with a supportive team and a flexible part-time schedule.

Responsibilities include assisting orthodontists, taking X-rays, and maintaining instruments, while keeping patients informed on oral care and scheduling follow-ups.

Qualifications

• X-ray and CPR certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an ortho practice is preferred, but we will train the right person!
• Completion of an accredited orthodontic assistant program preferred
• Additional certification or training is a plus
• Experience with Cloud 9 software or iTero scanners is a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures.
• Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and care techniques.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with patient scheduling.
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensuring smooth patient flow and maintaining a kid-friendly environment.
