Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group in Cartersville, GA is seeking a reliable Orthodontic Assistant to join our pediatric-focused team. You will assist with orthodontic procedures, take X-rays, and help maintain a kid-friendly, efficient practice.

Requirements include X-ray and CPR certification; 1 year ortho experience preferred but we will train the right person, and completion of an accredited orthodontic assistant program is preferred. Full-time, daytime shifts with some Saturdays offered.

Qualifications

• X-ray certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• 1 year experience in an ortho practice preferred, training available for the right candidate.
• Completion of an accredited orthodontic assistant program preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures.
• Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and care techniques.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with patient scheduling.
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure smooth patient flow in a kid-friendly environment.
