Job summary

Lone Peak Dental Group is seeking an Orthodontic Assistant for its Middleburg Heights, OH location. The role emphasizes kid-friendly patient care, room setup, and assisting orthodontists during procedures to create a positive experience for children and families.

Requirements include X-ray and CPR certification, with a preference for 1 year of ortho experience or completion of an accredited orthodontic assistant program. Training is provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• X-ray and CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an ortho practice preferred, but we will train the right person.
• Completion of an accredited orthodontic assistant program preferred.
• Experience with Denticon or iTero is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for orthodontic procedures.
• Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment.
• Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and care techniques.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with patient scheduling.
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure smooth patient flow and a kid-friendly environment.
