Job summary

Banner Health seeks a skilled Medical Assistant to join the BTMC Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery team in Glendale, AZ. You will assist clinicians, record vital signs, perform phlebotomy and EKGs, and help coordinate patient care in a fast-paced clinic.

This role requires a completed medical assistant program, active MA certification, and strong interpersonal skills to support a diverse patient population. Monday–Friday daytime schedule with on-site work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exam and treatment; records vital signs and chief complaints.
• Assists with exams and minor procedures; performs phlebotomy and EKGs as needed.
• Coordinates care including referrals, authorizations, and scheduling of tests and treatments.
