Shriners Children’s is seeking a full-time Surgical Technologist for our Portland, OR team. You will support intraoperative patient care, applying aseptic techniques and assisting the surgeon throughout procedures.

Requirements include an Associate degree in Surgical Technology and BLS, with CST preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities across Shriners facilities nationwide.

Formación

• Associate in Surgical Technology and 1 year OR scrub experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates correct aseptic technique and maintains sterile field.
• Plans and directs workflow during surgical procedures.
• Anticipates intraoperative events to meet surgeon and patient needs.
• Performs the role of first scrub on surgeries.
• Knows Code Cart location, contents, and usage.
• Applies safety measures including sponge/sharps counts and site marking.
