Responsibilities

• Provide leadership at unit level to correct safety/clinical quality deficiencies.
• Assist with teaching of newly hired technologists and student Operating Room technologists.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge and practice of aseptic and surgical technique.
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff members and physicians.
• Assist in development of policies, procedures and protocols at the Surgical Unit level.
