Job summary

Carolinas Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Pediatric Operating Room in Charlotte, NC. The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program and active RN licensure in the state of practice, with BLS certification. Prior OR experience is strongly preferred.

You will join a team dedicated to pediatric surgical care across multiple specialties, with a sign-on bonus available for eligible applicants and opportunities for various shifts and a full‑time schedule.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Previous Operating Room experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care for pediatric patients in the OR.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic nursing care following established standards and policies.
• Lead efforts to ensure a safe patient environment and high‑quality care across the perioperative continuum.

Education

Nursing degree or diploma

Registered Nurse (RN) license

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Operating Room experience (preferred)
