Job summary

Atrium Health's Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Pediatric Operating Room. The RN will deliver high-quality pediatric perioperative care, coordinating patient care and ensuring safety throughout the surgical continuum.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited nursing program, active RN licensure in the state, and BLS certification; prior OR experience is strongly preferred to support a busy pediatric surgical service.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association).
• Prior Operating Room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead with evidence-based practice to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the care continuum.
