Job summary

Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Downtown Jacksonville, FL, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Main Pediatric Operating Room. This is a full-time, day-shift position with weekend coverage and required call within 30 minutes. The RN circulator partner will assist surgeons, manage patient flow, and ensure care from placement to PACU transfer.

Required OR Circulating experience (1–2 years) or completion of AORN Preoperative 101; ASN required, BSN preferred. Sign-on bonus eligible—up to $10,000.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years OR Circulating experience preferred or completion of AORN Preoperative 101 Program.
• ASRN required; BSN preferred.
• Day-shift, full-time role with weekend and holiday call.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as Circulating Nurse during operative cases.
• Check-in and receive patient assignments and coordinate intra-operative care.
• Ensure patient safety, positioning, supplies, and documentation through PACU handoff.
• Collaborate with physicians and OR teams to support surgeries and perioperative care.
