Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced OR RN for a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, OH. This PRN opportunity offers flexible scheduling and self-scheduling responsibilities in the OR, supporting pediatric patients.

Requirements include 2+ years of pediatric OR nursing experience, OH RN license, BSN in progress or completed, and active BLS/ACLS; CNOR preferred. Apply to join a dedicated team delivering high-quality perioperative care.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 2 years RN OR (Peds) experience.
• OH RN license required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Ability to pass background screening and onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the OR and perform perioperative assessments.
• Assist physicians in implementing the plan of care and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain continuity between the PACU/ICU and Operating Room.
