Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with pediatric OR experience for a PRN role in a pediatric acute care hospital in Ohio. The RN will provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room and perform assessments.

You will assist physicians in implementing care plans and maintain continuity of care between the operating room and patient care units.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of OR (peds) RN experience.
• Ohio RN license.
• BSN degree or in progress.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications, PALS preferred.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• American Heart Association certification.
• CNOR certification highly preferred.
• Pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery, and laser experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the operating room.
• Assist physicians in implementing care plans.
• Maintain continuity of care between the operating room and patient care units.
