Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Pediatrics for an OR setting in a pediatric acute care hospital. This PRN role offers flexible scheduling and requires a minimum of 2 years of OR experience in pediatrics.

Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients during surgery, performing assessments, and assisting physicians to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• RN license in Ohio required.
• BSN degree or currently pursuing a BSN.
• BLS, ACLS required; PALS preferred; CNOR as an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients during surgery.
• Perform pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.
