Wise Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio.

This PRN role offers flexible scheduling, W2 employment, weekly direct deposit pay, and benefits eligibility. Requirements include Ohio RN license, BSN (in progress), 2 years OR (Peds) experience, and current BLS/ACLS; PALS preferred.

Candidates will support patient safety and continuity of care during surgery and must pass credentialing and onboarding.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds).
• Ohio RN License required.
• BSN degree required or in progress.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Must have American Heart Association.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements.
• CNOR highly preferred.
• Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus.

Responsabilités

• The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery.
• Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and provides continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
