Job summary

Wise Medical Staffing is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for the OR in a pediatric acute care hospital in Dayton, Ohio. This PRN opportunity offers flexible scheduling and the chance to apply specialized pediatric OR skills.

Minimum 2 years OR (Peds) experience, Ohio RN license, and BSN degree or in progress are required; BLS/ACLS required, PALS preferred. CNOR strongly preferred and credentialing will follow.

Qualifications

• Must have a BSN degree or in progress.
• Ohio RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years OR (Peds) experience.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Current BLS, ACLS certificates required; PALS preferred.
• CNOR highly preferred; credentialing and onboarding needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in the OR, perform assessments and interventions to ensure safety during surgery.
• Assist physician and ensure continuity of care between patient care unit and OR.
