Job summary

Renown Health seeks a pediatric ophthalmologist to deliver specialized eye care for children in the community. The role includes outpatient clinics and operating services, with ROP screening one day weekly at Renown Regional Medical Center and another day in the outpatient clinic.

Requirements include Pediatric Ophthalmology Fellowship, Nevada MD/DO license with DEA, ABO board eligibility or certification, and BLS/ACLS. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and active credentialing are expected.

Qualifications

• Completion of Pediatric Ophthalmology Fellowship.
• Current and valid State of Nevada MD/DO license; DEA registration.
• Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Ophthalmology (ABO).
• BLS or ACLS certified; AHA preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Word).
• Credentialing via CVMC Medical Staff/payor credentials may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric ophthalmology services in outpatient clinics and operating services as deemed appropriate.
• Perform ROP screening up to one day per week at Renown Regional Medical Center and one day per week in the outpatient clinic.
• Collaborate with the Department of Surgery and Pediatrics as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with medical advances by participating in CME and educational meetings.
