Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as an Ophthalmic Technician or relevant clinical experience.
• Ophthalmic Technician certification preferred.
• Experience working with pediatric population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts motility evaluations and refractometry.
• Performs fundus photography and monitors regulatory compliance.
• Maintains and calibrates clinic equipment, and documents patient history.
• Acts as the Liaison with Inova Health System's Surgery Center.

Education

High School or GED equivalent

2 years as an Ophthalmic Technician, or 2 years relevant clinical experience, or an Associate's Degree and 1 year of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field
