Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our acute care team. Grow professionally within a faith-based system that emphasizes whole-person care, teamwork, and community impact.

This full-time role offers three 12-hour day shifts (7:00 am–7:00 pm) at the Orlando campus, with weekend rotation. You will assess, plan, administer medications, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN licensure and BLS/PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, cultural and spiritual factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to orders.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care activities and outcomes.
