Responsibilities

• Developing and supporting territory sales goals in physician office service areas for Abbott Nutrition products.
• Call on Pediatric, OB/Gyn and Family Practices.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines for selling environments.
• Lead new product launches.
• Understand hospital department hierarchies (NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries, Nursing units).
• Collaborate with Dietitians, Physicians and Nurses.
• Demonstrate effective administrative skills and budget management.
• Operate independently with initiative, autonomy, and self-motivation.

Our location in San Francisco, CA currently has an opportunity for a Pediatric Office Sales Specialist. This position is responsible for the promotion, management and growth of Abbott Pediatric Nutritional products in office settings.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Developing and supporting territory sales goals in each physician’s office service area for Similac, PediaSure and Pedialyte.

• Calling on Pediatric, OB Gyn and Family Practices

• Comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies, protocols and guidelines as well as the ability to deliver the information in a selling environment.

• New product launches.

• An understanding of the hierarchy of hospital departments such as NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries and Nursing units. The ability to work effectively with Dietitians, Physicians and Nurses.

• Effective administrative skills.

• Budget management.

• Ability to function independently with a high degree of initiative, independence, and autonomy.

• Desire to be self- motivated, seeking out success at achieving both short- and long-term goals.

The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 – $122,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
