School-Based Behavior Consultation LLC in Kokomo, IN seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support pediatric clients under supervision of an OTR, coordinating with teachers and caregivers.

The role focuses on assessment, planning and implementing therapy programs, documenting progress, and helping clients gain functional skills for daily living and participation in school activities within an ABA framework.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant credential.
• Experience assisting pediatric clients with developmental delays, autism and related disorders.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, social workers and other health professionals.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates development and rehabilitation of pediatric clients via medically prescribed OT.
• Assists the OT in assessments, reporting findings and recommendations for goals.
• Helps clients develop or regain physical or mental functioning and independence in daily living.
• Implements programs to foster activities of daily living and functional skills.
• Prepares discharge plans and instructs families on home exercise programs.
