Job summary

School-Based Behavior Consultation (SBBC) is seeking a pediatric Assistant Occupational Therapist to provide occupational therapy services to infants through young adults. The OTA will support the OTR in assessments, planning, and treatment, while collaborating with families, schools, and other professionals to promote functional skills and independence.

Position requires state OTA/OTR licensing, 1 year pediatric OT experience, CPR/BLS, and Indiana driver’s license; full-time hours, benefits

Qualifications

• Require current state assistant OT license and one year pediatric OT experience.
• Graduation from an OT program; NBCOT/OTR or COTA acceptable.
• CPR/BLS certification; NPI & taxonomy at hire; valid Indiana driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates development and rehabilitation of pediatric clients by administering occupational therapy.
• Assists OTR with assessments, reporting findings, and goal recommendations.
• Helps clients develop or regain functioning and ADLs.
• Implements therapy programs including crafts and functional activities.
• Prep for return to employment with employer collaboration and training.
