Job summary

MedCare Pediatric in Houston area seeking a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver one-on-one pediatric OT in homes, daycares, and schools. The role emphasizes individualized care, documentation, and collaboration with a supportive clinical team.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited OTA program and a Texas COTA license; pediatric experience preferred, Spanish is a bonus. Part-time, full-time, and PRN options with sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current Texas Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license by anticipated start date
• One year of pediatric or related experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist according to physician-approved treatment plans
• Implement interventions to improve strength, mobility, coordination, fine motor skills, activities of daily living, and overall functional independence
• Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
