MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver one-on-one therapy in children's homes, daycares, and schools, supporting kids in reaching their fullest potential. You will have structured scheduling, meaningful sessions, and strong supervision and resources to make a lasting impact.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Texas COTA license by anticipated start date.
• One year pediatric or related experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Mansioni

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist per treatment plans.
• Improve strength, mobility, coordination, fine motor skills, ADLs, and functional independence.
• Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current Texas Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license by anticipated start date
• One year of pediatric or related experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist according to physician-approved treatment plans
• Implement interventions to improve strength, mobility, coordination, fine motor skills, activities of daily living, and overall functional independence
• Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
