Job summary

MedCare Pediatric in Texas is hiring a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). You will deliver one-on-one therapy in children’s homes, daycares, and schools, following physician-approved plans and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support each child’s growth.

We offer flexible scheduling (Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN), weekday/evening hours, a sign-on bonus, paid time off, and a supportive environment with mentors and resources to advance your pediatric practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Texas COTA license by start date.
• One year pediatric or related experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of a licensed OT according to treatment plans.
• Implement interventions to improve strength, mobility, coordination, fine motor skills, ADLs and independence.
• Educate families and caregivers on techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
