Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver one-on-one pediatric therapy in homes, daycare, and schools across Greater Houston and surrounding areas. You’ll collaborate with licensed therapists, educate families, document care, and adjust plans to support each child’s growth.

Flexible schedules include Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN positions with a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Texas COTA license by start date.
• One year pediatric experience preferred, but new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services under the direction of a licensed OT per treatment plans.
• Improve strength, mobility, coordination, fine motor, ADLs, and independence.
• Educate families and caregivers on techniques and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team to ensure high-quality care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Qualifications

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
