Job summary

Therapy 2000 in Cedar Park, TX is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our mission-driven, home-based therapy team serving Texas families. You’ll work under an supervising OT to deliver targeted pediatric OT services in children's homes, helping them reach their fullest potential in familiar environments.

The role requires a Texas license, 3+ years of pediatric COTA experience, and experience in home-health settings.

Qualifications

• Current active license to practice Occupational Therapy in Texas.
• 3+ years as a pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Experience in a home-health setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy treatments under Supervising Occupational Therapist goals and treatment plans.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of patients’ medical neighborhoods, coordinating care between providers.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and paperwork.
• Meet with agency personnel to maintain understanding of expectations and standards for high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to agency policies, procedures and applicable laws for home-health pediatric OT.
