Job summary

Therapy 2000 in Texas is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant to join a mission-driven home-based therapy team. You will work under a supervising OT to deliver pediatric occupational therapy, adapt activities to each child’s needs, and coordinate care with families and healthcare providers.

The role requires a Texas OT license, at least 3 years as a pediatric COTA, and experience in home-health settings.

Qualifications

• Active Texas OT license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy treatments under Supervising Occupational Therapist goals and treatment plans.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of patients’ medical neighborhoods, coordinating care between providers and disciplines.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and paperwork.
• Maintain understanding of expectations and standards with agency personnel for high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and relevant laws and regulations.
