THERAPY 2000 is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide home-based services across Tomball, Stagecoach, and Magnolia. You’ll evaluate children, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with families and caregivers to promote independence

The role requires Texas OT licensure, at least 3 years of pediatric experience, and prior home-health exposure. We offer PTO, health insurance, mileage reimbursement, a company 401k, and access to continuing education.

Responsabilités

• Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations using standardized tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in alignment with physician orders.
• Create home exercise programs with families/caregivers.
• Coordinate care with other providers within the patient’s medical neighborhood.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required by the agency.
• Maintain timely chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and related paperwork.
• Meet with agency personnel to ensure understanding of expectations and standards.
• Comply with agency policies, laws, and regulations governing home-health pediatric therapy.

What you’ll need:

• A current/active license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
  Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
• Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric occupational therapy.
