Job summary

ADAPT Community Network, formerly UCP NYC, seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat students and support daily living skills in the New York City area.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with parents and an interdisciplinary team, and document progress while traveling between programs as needed in a nonprofit environment with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy; NY State license required.
• One year of prior Occupational Therapist experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with nonprofit service delivery models preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students to establish learning and performance goals.
• Develop treatment plans based on assessments.
• Maintain daily and monthly attendance records.
• Ensure services align with educational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Integrate adaptive skills into daily living or vocational tasks.
• Document therapy activities and progress in student records.
