Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) PRN to plan, organize, and provide professional therapy services in rehabilitation programs. You will evaluate patients, develop therapy plans, and work closely with patients and families to meet treatment goals.

The role requires an OT license and BLS certification, with opportunities to advance clinical skills and contribute to high-quality patient care within a dynamic healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Masters' or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Less than 1 year of experience.
• Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
• BLS certification (within 30 days of hire or transfer).

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients; develops and adjusts therapy plans.
• Maintains thorough clinical documentation in a timely manner.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, coworkers, and the medical care team.
• Supervises ancillary staff, students and volunteers as needed.
• Advances clinical skills through ongoing education and evidence-based practice.
• Adheres to organizational and state regulatory guidelines.
