Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for PRN, as-needed assignments in a pediatric setting. You will assess and plan OT programs to restore function and maximize independence for young patients.

Responsibilities include supervising OT staff, documenting treatment plans, and coordinating with physicians and families to support discharge planning and home programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in OT from an accredited OT program.
• Current state OT license is required.
• BLS certification required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises OT assistants, OT technicians, students, and volunteers.
• Evaluates patients and creates care plans including modalities and home programs.
• Documents evaluations, tests, progress notes, discharge notes, and charges.
• Re-evaluates patients as status changes and adjusts goals.
• Communicates progress to physicians, referrals, and staff; coordinates schedules and discharge planning.
• Provides patient and family education with home program instructions and equipment use.
