My Recess Therapy in St. Charles, IL is seeking a warm, skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team.

This generalist role emphasizes emotional and sensory regulation, working with infants to school-age children to plan and deliver play-based intervention that supports sensory processing, self-regulation, motor development, and functional independence at home, at school, and in the community.

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy with active Illinois license.
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric clinical experience or strong fieldwork background.
• Working knowledge of sensory processing and self-regulation.
• Excellent communication with children, families, and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized and clinical assessments of sensory processing and motor skills.
• Develop & implement play-based treatment plans focusing on emotional and sensory regulation.
• Provide direct therapy across settings including sensory gym and early intervention.
• Partner with families as active team members, coaching and modeling strategies.
• Collaborate with in-house and external professionals to coordinate care.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Maintain a consistent caseload and participate in team meetings and continuing education.
