Job summary

Westside Children's Therapy in Illinois is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. You will assess clients, design and implement interventions to develop fine motor, cognitive, language, self-care, and regulatory skills, and support families to carry over treatment at home.

We value a creative, collaborative approach and a passion for neurodiverse pediatric populations.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• OT licensure or license eligible in Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients for adaptations and use of special equipment when necessary.
• Identify and implement therapeutic interventions that help develop client’s fine motor skills, cognition, language skills, self care skills, regulation, and more.
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment.
