Job summary

Cortica in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. You will assess, diagnose, and treat sensory integration, sensorimotor, motor, feeding, and developmental disorders in children, using Cortica’s Whole Child Approach.

You’ll collaborate with Speech Language Pathologists, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, physicians, counselors, and other specialists to create integrated treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Safety training within the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Establish OT treatment goals through dynamic and standardized assessments in line with Cortica’s Whole Child Approach.
• Consult with transdisciplinary team to create collaborative treatment plans and integrative strategies.
• Provide individual, group, and co-treat therapy sessions as clinically appropriate.
• Contribute to autism diagnostic process by providing clinical insight and standardized assessments (e.g. ADOS).
• Deliver in-person clinic sessions and via telehealth as appropriate.
• Complete documentation within Cortica’s designated timelines.
