Full-Time or Part-Time Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) – Sausalito & Novato, CA

Compensation

• Hourly position, pay range based on experience. Full-time therapists working 35-40 hours per week can earn $94,000–$133,000 annually, depending on caseload, schedule, and availability.

Employment Type

W-2 Employee | Full-Time or Part-Time | Hourly, Non-Exempt. Overtime is paid in accordance with California law.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and provide treatment for pediatric clients. Caseload includes highly motivated families with a typical age range of 2–15 years, diagnoses including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Learning Differences (LD), Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD).
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support client-centered goals.
• Provide family and community education, including caregiver coaching and consultation.
• Communicate and coordinate with community professionals such as teachers, school staff, and medical providers.
• Potential to lead or support Friendship Explorations summer camps and outdoor groups.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in California or license-eligible.
• Experience working with pediatric populations or a strong interest in pediatrics.
• Comfortable engaging in active, play-based activities.
• Values collaboration, mentorship, and family-centered care.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

• This position is physically active and may require the ability to sit on the floor, kneel, squat, crawl, bend, and transition to standing repeatedly throughout the workday.
• Ability to participate in physically active play and gross motor activities with pediatric clients.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment or materials up to approximately 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to travel between clinic locations, school sites, and community locations as required.
