Job summary

Easterseals Florida is seeking a Licensed and Registered Occupational Therapist to join our Pediatric Outpatient Therapy Programs. You will evaluate and treat pediatric clients with developmental, physical, and sensory needs in a collaborative outpatient setting, working with children, families, and multidisciplinary staff to promote independence and functional skills.

The ideal candidate holds an OT degree, NBCOT, and an active Florida OT license, with experience in pediatric therapy and EMR

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• NBCOT certification and active Florida OT license.
• Experience in pediatric outpatient therapy preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR and billing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial evaluations and re-evaluations for pediatric outpatient therapy clients.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans with evidence-based interventions.
• Document evaluation results, progress notes, summaries, billing info in EMR within required timeframes.
• Establish goals in the client's Plan of Care and manage caseload per payer requirements.
• Provide clinical supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as assigned.
• Coordinate with School Program staff, Early Intervention, case management, families, and Clinical Director.
• Educate and support clients and families to promote carryover of strategies.
