Summit Therapy (Texas) is seeking a pediatric occupational therapist with 5+ years of pediatric experience to join our growing outpatient clinics in McKinney and Frisco, TX. We offer part-time and full-time roles and opportunities to lead in the orthopedic field.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid Texas OT license, NBCOT registration, and be able to lift 35 lbs. Flexible scheduling and strong admin support are provided to help you deliver exceptional care to children and families.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited four-year Occupational Therapy program or MOT
• Texas licensure required within six months of temporary licensure
• NBCOT registration required within six months if temp licensure
• Pediatric experience emphasized; autism spectrum exposure

Must have 5+ years of experience with pediatric populations.

MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS

Education

• Must be a graduate of an accredited four year Occupational Therapy school; OR, must be a graduate of an accredited two year Master's degree program in Occupational Therapy (MOT).

Experience

• Must have five (3) years of experience to include one year of experience in a specific physical disability and/or with patients on the autism spectrum.

Certification/Registration/Licensure

• Must have current licensure with the Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners for Texas, or have temporary licensure in Texas. Completion of Texas licensure is required within six months of receiving a temporary licensure.
• Must have current registration as an Occupational Therapist by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Completion of NBCOT is required within six months if being hired with a temporary licensure.

Skills Or Special Abilities

• Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Must be able to be flexible and adaptable to frequent changes in the work environment.
• Must be able to demonstrate problem-solving ability.
• Must be able to demonstrate leadership ability.
• Must have familiarity with personal computers, word processor and spreadsheet software.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs
