Job summary

UCP of Central Florida seeks a Medical Therapy Employee to provide direct pediatric therapy services in-clinic and outpatient settings. The role involves evaluations, goal setting, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team across eight UCF-area campuses and charter schools in Central Florida.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in OT therapy is required; Master’s or Doctorate preferred.
• Active Occupational Therapist license from the State of Florida.
• One year pediatric experience preferred; new graduates may apply.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations, re-evaluations, and therapy sessions for pediatric clients.
• Sets measurable goals based on evaluative data.
• Collaborates with education staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities.
• Maintains accurate daily progress notes and adheres to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines.
• Consults with parents and provides home-program instructions and equipment recommendations.
