Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist for Carolinas Medical Center – LCH: IP Therapies. The OT evaluates, plans, and directs therapy programs to restore function and maximize independence for pediatric patients in inpatient settings, working with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in OT, state licensure, and BLS. Hospital experience is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in OT is required.
• Applicable state OT license required.
• BLS certification required per policy guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Directs and supervises OT staff, assistants, students, and volunteers involved in care.
• Evaluates patients and develops care plans with appropriate modalities and exercises.
• Documents evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and discharge planning.
• Communicates evaluations and progress to physicians and coordinates patient schedules.
• Provides patient and family education including home exercise programs.
